Anyone have info on implementing the serial port on a Cab 8n to receive strings?  From what I can see, the documentation just shows the pinouts.

The serial port on the CAB 8n is for CobraNet serial bridging only. There is no access into the CAB 8n itself for anything through that serial port.
Also, for the serial port to work correctly, you will need to be sure to update the CAB 8n to the latest version of CAB 8n firmware and CobraNet firmware. These firmware updates are available in the attached .zip file.
