Is there any way to retrieve serial numbers from Nions and/or CABs remotely? I thought that with the Nions at least it might be in the web interface, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

No, the only way to get the serial number is from the
sticker label attached to the unit.  This information is not
embedded in the programming of the units.
