Updated NWare 1.6.1 Kiosk installer
===================================
There is a new version of the NWare 1.6.1 Kiosk installer that corrects a problem where the application would not start.
Please download it from the MediaMatrix site here:
http://mm.peavey.com/assets/software/NW … sk_677.msi
The filename for the new version is: NWare_1-6-1_Kiosk_677.msi
The filename for the old version is: NWare_1-6-1_Kiosk_655.msi and is not available for download anymore. The message above has been edited to reflect this change.
If you downloaded a copy of NWare_1-6-1_Kiosk_655.msi please uninstall and delete it. Then, download the new file and install it.
Creating shortcuts to run NWare and Kiosk 1.6.1
===============================================
The default shortcuts for NWare and Kiosk 1.6.1 are different from previous versions. It is no longer possible to edit the Target field settings on the Shortcut tab.
When you want to run these applications with special command line switches - to automatically open a particular project, for example - you need to complete the following procedure:
1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the NWare 1.6.1 or NWare Kiosk 1.6.1 installation folder.
2. Right-click NWare.exe and then click Create Shortcut.
3. Right-click the new shortcut and then click Properties.
4. Add switches to the entry in the Target field.
Use the new shortcut to run NWare or Kiosk.
Edited: updated the link to the software, the old link did not work.
