What do you think about the NX being a 1u box?
The reason i thought about this was due to the fact that at the Plasa show in London last week a number of people asked if there was an NX on display.... it was right there in front of them underneath an N6 & N3! I think customers that are seeking the unit for the first time are looking for a unique identity, something to distinguish its self from the N3 & N6.
The cosmetic needn't change much, just a scaled down version.
Any Thoughts?

This idea, as good as it is, was rejected early in the design of the Nx...Just not practical for many reasons.  So it was decided that it would retain the same look and feel as the rest of the Nion family.  And in a way, it makes sense.  We want people to realize that this is not an X-Frame, which couldn’t do everything that a MainFrame could do.  It is a Nion, and it uses the same NWare software, and can do everything that the N3 can do, just with less I/O and without the XDAD.
